Full GRC design service including fixing

GRC cladding panels are generally manufactured by the ‘Hand Spray’ technique. As the name implies, the material is sprayed into a mould using special machinery. The method can produce high-performance materials from which panels with extremely thin, lightweight sections are achievable. SCI are members of the GRCA (International Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete Association) and have multiple staff memebers on the associations committee.

SCI provide a full GRC design service from development through to installation. Our GRC design packages typically include:

• General Arrangement Drawings
• Fixing details suitable for fabrication
• GRC Panel manufacturing drawings and schedules
• Structural Calculations
• Attendance and representation at design team meetings
• Secondary steelwork design and detailing can also be included in our package if required.
